1st Anniversary of TDS

I just joined the TDS few couple of weeks ago. But the experience which I got is really unforgettable and it’s not possible for me to describe it in few lines. The help & support of the team deserves the word fantastic. Working with ‘The Dehradun Street’ is one of the best parts in my life. On this anniversary, I will congratulate Mr. Suraj Kumar for such an amazing leadership. He is an amazing personality with fun and dedication, also a very talented human being. After a leader, he is a good friend also and I will appreciate his initiative to start this weekly newspaper and bring it on this position. May the journey of TDS will be continued like this.

TOASTMASTERS Family Harry Sethi

I met Suraj Kumar, the Editor of Dehradun Street, when he first came to attend one of our meetings sometimes last year. Since then he has been a good friend and a constant supporter of Toastmasters Clubs in and around Dehradun. Suraj is a charming personality and a very friendly young entrepreneur. My association with Suraj and Dehradun Street has been very pleasant. It has helped us to reach more and more young persons in Dehradun. I wish them the best for their onward journey.

I have always appreciated the role of the media, especially the print media, in spreading information about Toastmasters Clubs in Dehradun and how it can help people in improving their public speaking and leadership skills.
I consider myself fortunate to serve the society and making a positive difference in the lives of others. Anyone who has joined Toastmasters club has felt a huge improvement in their personality. I wish more and more persons join the club to enrich their lives.

Congratulations Dehradun Street and best wishes for future.

Thank You Nandani Kumar for your kind words

When I met Suraj for the first time, I had no idea how focused and enthusiastic such a young person can be. He had all the plans, all the ideas ready to be launched for his newspaper. What I especially loved about his initiative was that he wanted to print only good news.
I had been waiting for such a newspaper for a long time and when it finally arrived, I couldn’t be happier. This is one of the few reasons why I chose to write for TDS. The other reason is that Dehradun Street, through its unique format, is bringing the people together.
Be it social events, book readings, art exhibitions, opening of a new cafĂ©, or hanging out an old favourite one, the Newspaper covers it all, and gives its readers something  to look forward to, something to be happy about.

TDS has finally accomplished something really special- bringing out the brighter side of Dehradun. People of Dehradun are special people and TDS is bringing the glory back. Congratulations Suraj and Happy Birthday The Dehradun Street.

Thank you Rohan Raj for your appreciation!

AND HE IS NONE OTHER THAN…

One who see good in everything, who give   a special place to family and his teachers, appreciate the way they have nurtured him, I have heard people calling him “ONE MAN ARMY” , which is true & he is none other than SURAJ KUMAR, who flawlessly knows how to manage?, how to direct? ,who is successfully running extremely wonderful platform for one and all to let people know what they should know.  Suraj collects & compiles it very wonderfully, very interestingly. My journey with “THE DEHRADUN STREET” & SURAJ is wonderful. Much appreciation to you  for such an immense   knowledgeable work for this beautiful town. I truly appreciate your decision of launching your own newspaper; the idea behind   it is awesome. Writing for TDS is something I just love to every week.
Applause & many congratulations for the first anniversary of  TDS   & much appreciation to you   SURAJ KUMAR for doing such a wonderful work. All the very very best for celebrating “n” number of anniversary for our much loved   newspaper “THE DEHRADUN STREET”. I wish it to reach every street in the country.

Talking about TDS it has been around a year that I am connected with this article handout. I remember when I was handed over the first copy of the newspaper I could literally forecast the whole of dehradun in front of my eyes. Covering every single topic be it the pro side of the city or the con. It has gain its importance within this small span of a year and I hope the grip won't ever get lose.
I remember when I was asked by Suraj to write a poem for the newspaper. At first I was confused about the title but Suraj came in as an additional help coming up with a genre love and I could not think of a topic other than “The feeling of Love”.
Me as a poet, a photographer and a blogger will  always will be ready to write and get the lyrical published in the newspaper according to the need of the moment, be it friendship day or mother's day. I will support this newsletter and I hope I will be a part of this for a very long time.
